... I woke up this morning from a pretty nasty nightmare. My chest was pounding and I was shaking quite a bit. I initially thought I was having a heart attack, and tried to check my pulse, but couldn't find it. Eventually, I found it and it appeared to be irregular, with an occasional rapid beat every 15 seconds or so. I went downstairs and immediately started drinking water. Before this, at around 6:30, I had taken some Excedrin because I had a massive headache.
Some more background information: Yesterday I hadn't really eaten much (a few cookies) and I drank a pretty good amount last night. I'm 19 years old. I'm worried the combination of Excedrin and alcohol and, I guess, lack of fluids was the cause of this, but I'd like to find out what exactly the issue is. I still feel a bit shaky, and my chest feels noticeably tight, but nothing like it did earlier, and I do feel slightly short of breath. Should I seek medical attention? Thanks for the help.
