When my daughter was 2 months old her pediatrician discovered a black spot in her left eye. She referred me to an opthamologist, which confirmed that she had a cataract. She says that surgery is not the best option right now because the cataract is only 1 1/2 millimeters long. She is now 4 months old and I patch her eye for 1 1/2 hours a day. Does anyone have a child with a cataract in either eye, if so, please help and let me know what to expect in the future. Would surgery help??Reply Follow This Thread Stop Following This Thread Flag this Discussion
