Last year I was diagnosed with Acid Reflux. My throat was so painful, similar to having Tonsilitis. Recently my throat started to become itchy then became painful again. I went to see a doctor to ask if it's Tonsilitis. Upon checking he said negative since my tonsils are not inflamed. I went to the drugstore to buy Omperazole for my Acid Reflux. Two days after I'm still hurting with fever and cough. I can't sleep at night because of the pain. So I went again to a different doctor and she said it Pharyngitis. I was given antibiotics. Now I'm fine and no more pain in my throat. I would never self-medicate again.
