My wife is around 45 years old. Since last 3-4 years she is suffering with leg pain. She feels seaver pain in Hip and lower leg. Pain is not regular, but when starts it lasts for 3-4 days, during this period if she standing or doing kitchen work sometime she feels OK and suddenly pain starts. Some times it starts when she sit on the bed or chair after some walking (no paind during walk). We have consulted many doctors no one able to diagnose some says it is sciatica some dont agree.

Recently she was quite fine for around one month and today all of the sudden pain started, so next 3-4 days she will face seaver problem. Alongwith the medicine (painkiller), I have to sit on her leg to give her little relief from pain my weight is around 78kgs. and I have to sit on her leg for 3-4 min only after that she able to sleep.

Any remedie ?

I actually suffer from it and the symptoms sound almost identical.also, try a deep massage to your wife's buttocks and hamstrings. more on the buttocks, and esp near the top of it, and towards the side of the hips.see if that helps.

  • She could be suffering from a seratic nerve damage or some type of a pinched nerve in the lower back which would cause pain in the buttocks down to her calves.
