I will make this quick as last time it logged out on me! although its a long drawn out story....
Basically I was diagnosed with PA about 1o years ago(28 years)...all iwas ever told is that I lack b12 and need a 3 monthly needle...no problem I can do that! ffwd to dec 2008, boom Iam very very sick, I missed 1 needle so had gone 5 months, doc gives me a jab but no levels checked at this time, I have strange symptoms that come and go each day, some days my wrists hurt(both)tendons in hands, next day back ache, tingling, extreme tiredness, feeling cold.....ITS A ViRUS they say, I get a needle eventually (levels checked after this over 1500)drop to 220 after 3 weeks, get another needle...levels are 330 after 11 days....to ma this says something is wrong, but no they still say its a virus, my muscles are so sore and tight at times.....the fog has set in and the panic attacks,itching...I then looked up PA on the net and found the Pa society- well what a SHOCK, how can docotrs be so blase about something like PA, i feel like I have all the symptoms!! I have managed to get a week of loading doses-should I try for 2 weeks, how long would it take before I get a true result (2 weeks??)I am demanding more iron tests now as they only ever check b12(when they even do that)(all my tests my levels are below 300....100 at lowest)my sister and neice both have Pa and our family has alot of AI diseases.........doc has checked for so many things so could I also have **FIBRO** and would a GP test for this???? all the strange symtoms come and go and I do have the odd good day, went to work for a whole day friday but by 3pm extreme fatigue and by 5 my feet were like walking on glass!! I have 3young children and I am very very tired of being sick....do I put all down to PA??? docs says its not MS as the symptoms are on both sides of my body.....tingling both legs not 1 etc.....I have been battling all these things since mid december......any advice would be great, thanks heaps ang p.s I get injected with neo-cyclamen 1000mcg.
