No more strength to fight...

Been sick for 17 years now, diagnosed with CFS, but have other puzzling non-CFS symptoms. I have had treatments for my adrenals and immune system, and improved for a very brief time, but am now having more severe symptoms than ever. These viral-like symptoms are striking almost daily now. They hit first in my head; my head becomes very full and achy, I get dizzy, I get the shakes, feel short of breath, get hot flashes, and low-grade fevers, become excessively thirsty, then my limbs get very weak, and I become unable to function without great difficulty. Sometimes, there is burning in my eyes and sinuses. My lymph nodes commonly swell on one side. I had bacterial infections every month before I started taking Allimed. I have constant severe bloating, though I'm not constipated, and an overactive bladder. And, in addition I am only 34 and not pregnant, but have not had a period in 3 months, having never missed one before. (Have had two healthy boys). It has been ruled out that I don't have a primary immunodeficiency. I have never met anyone with similar viral/neurological like symptoms. I can't help feeling something is really being missed here. None of my doctors, including immunologists, MD's or ND's can find an explanation. I've ruled out allergies and molds. Symptoms are the same all year round. Does this sound familiar to anyone? Would so appreciate any input.

Blessings,
Stacy

The only one I do not get is the excessive thirst. In fact, I NEVER feel thirsty. Not even when I'm dehydrated:confused:Look into Celiac disease, if you haven't already. Or better yet, research all the hidden sources of gluten, and cut them out of your diet and see if you improve. All of my symptoms are resulting from Gluten. Gluten has also damaged my pancreas, causing it to over-produce insulin in response to carbs/sugars. Giving me the lightheaded-ness, dizziness, headaches, even hot flashes! (It's called Reactive Hypoglycemia) The gluten was causing my period to be all over the place: miss a month, bleed for a month straight, two weeks in between periods, etc etc etc.Gluten can wreak havoc throughout your entire body. Causing inflammation anywhere, and making you extremely sick. Even if the doctors have ruled out Celiac, I'd still suggest cutting out gluten entirely. Just for one month, and see if you feel better. There have been Celiac's who were initially misdiagnosed, as adult onset Celiac can sometimes be difficult to diagnose.
