  • Herpes 1 or quite an allergy to something...there's lots of MSG being marketed under a dozen different names, so start reading labels and get that out of your diet.

  • That use to happens to me. It took me awhile but i finally figured it out.I use to shake pepper under my bed to keep my cat out from under thereand every time I did it my lips would swell (wierd but true) When I quit doing itMy lips quit swelling. So maybe its an allergic reaction.

  • I had all the symptoms associated with swollen lips coming on at about age 50 for about 10 years. I had never suffered from any allergies previously.I still do not know what was causing this to happen. However for what it is worth for me anyhow has been taking Po Loratadine 5mg every day for 2 years and have not had an attack since. The tablet is not expensive get it from my doctor on prescription here in NZ and saves the embarrasment of being in public when it occurred at any time day or night.Cheers.

  • My entire family is sensitive to additives in TOOTHPASTE! According to our dentist, this is not unusual! You might want to make sure you are not using toothpaste with any additives in it to fight TARTAR (that is the big one...a lot of people are allergic to that) but the whole COMPLETE CARE line I have to stay away from, including peroxide, and all of that stuff!:p
