I had a mass discovered on my right front shoulder by a massage therapist (I had been having shoulder blade pain). Ortho thought it was a ganglion cyst, then lipoma. Had xray & ultrasound was inconclusive per radiology. Was removed in August 2008 along with bone spurs filed down. Kept asking for pathology report ... told it "looked" benign. Requested OR records and found it was not sent to pathology in error. Doc still said it looked benign, but I have no closure and have not figured out what to do. I don't think I should have to pay to make sure it isn't cancer, but also don't think I should wait much longer. Is the hospital/doctor responsible? Thanks for any suggestions on where to begin.Reply Follow This Thread Stop Following This Thread Flag this Discussion
