I need some help and since we’re all just a username I figured this would be a good place to find it. I need someone that can give me some info on a hospital medication record such as what this means and what that means. I only have a couple of questions. Anyone willing to help I thank you. I’ll watch for reply.

  • Thanks. I hope someone can. This is going to get confusing quick. Hospital med records show a certain drug was given to my mom at a certain time. On date one it shows the codes for when it was entered into the computer and the time it was given. On another page and a different date the same drug shows up only the codes just show time entered into computer and nurses code (for her name) and time. Example—dc (computer discharge) 1500 and then ao (nurse ordered) 2250. It doesn’t mention “given”. My question –does this mean she was given the drug on two different days. I’ve seen other meds that I know she was given that show up the same way. I hope someone can answer this and thanks again.
