I had bad heartburn for almost three years. I was given a barium test and was diagnosed with GERD. I was taking two Zantac everyday to feel better.

3 years later I started getting severe pain on my right side. An ultrasound found gall stones. After having my gall bladder removed, the heart burn was gone. It never came back.
