I was told I had a fatty tissue lump that couldnt be removed...within 3 weeks i looked 8 months pregnant went back to doctors saw a different doctor and I was booked in for emergency scan
I had to have a full hysterectomy and the biopsy showed I had a grade 3 Leiomysarcoma if I hadnt gone back to the doctors this very rare cancer would have spread through my body !!! sometimes vanity does pay

  • I had a huge bruise type lunp come up on my arm. For three months doctors went back and forth between telling me its - a bruise/a cyst/an infection. I knew something was wrong and kept pushing until eventually doctor sent me for tests and it turned out I had grade 3 Firbrosarcoma. Keep pushing if you know something doesn't feel right!

  • I was the opposite.. had a lump on my arm and thought it was nothing. Had it removed and biopsied and was told it was leiomyosarcoma. Went through another surgery to gain margins ect. and about to start radiation treatment when a different pathologist decided to re-test the original excision. Turns out I didn't have cancer. It's great news but I went through all that emotion, telling loved ones and then something I didn't think would happen happens. They shouldn't put people through that. Check.
