  • To ckbme13: How are you dealing with the sarcoidosis? I have had sarcoid since the late '80"s. Are you just learning about it or do you have a pretty good idea of it. The only thing I say, is do research because a lot of drs know that sarcoid exists but don't know much about the disease. I have had my pulmonologist tell me that people on the internet are just crazy because they don't have anything else to do. That is after he told me my sarcoid was in remission & I questioned him about it ever coming back. He told me he would guarantee it. Welll, I ended up in the hospital for 30 cays about 4--5 months after, dying from the sarcoid and thyroid storm because of Graves disease. Just a FYI Here is a good website to go to sarcoidosisonlinesites.com It's a good website where other people talk about their experience with the disease. Don't let the dr. fool ya.;)
