Child is 9 years old. 6 months ago he developed a high fever but had recovered. 4 Weeks ago while at the lake his hands and feet went stiff and distorted his body went ridget and he was screaming in pain. Rushed him to hospital, they found he he was not absorbing potassium. He is still in hospital, he cannot eat, he has lost a lot of weight. He cannot digest food. He vomits and/or has cronic diarrea. Tried changing his diet (no glutten) no change. Tried tube feeding, he vomited. He has no energy, loosing too much weight. They have tested him for everything. Chrones, ciliac, arthoritis, bowel, scoping, digestive etc......too many to mention. Today he is receiving a bone marrow test. Doctors do not know what is wrong with him? Can anyone help, is there something that is being missed?
