I am a 46 yr. old female going through extremely painful face pain. It has been on going for about 6 yrs. Started off as excess fluid in eyes and a build up of a mucous type that I would wipe out. I had plugs put in my tear ducts and they eventually fell out. Then pain would radiate in my face/cheek area but that would go away with aspirin. Over time, while doing a lot of swimming I would not feel the tingling and it would diminish after swimming to uncomfortable. I was tested for lupus, sograms syndrome..sorry for mis spell, fibormyalgia, MS and all tests clear. The last 9 -12 months have been just extremely painful. Now, I can not get ANY relief and feel there is no hope. I have been on different nerve type medicines thinking it is neurological. The ONLY relief I get, is when I place my two hands on either side of my face and press just on either side of my nose and cheeks. The pain goes away. It has drastically changed my and my husbands lives. We moved from Florida to MD thinking the colder air would help and it has NOT. I am running out of possible answers. My husband thinks it is something in the sinus area. ANY THOUGHTS???? YOUR COMMENTS ARE WELCOME.....THANKS......SOREFACE.
