Hi, My whole family for the past few years have been sufferring various health problems. Ill start with my sister who for 3 years was complaining of stomach aches and migranes. She had almost a whole year off school with it and eventually had to repeat. We had gone to 5 different GP's who all sent her away saying she was just faking it and she had a phychological problem and just didnt want to go to school even though we explianed to them many times that she was also experiencing severe vomiting and she looked extremelly sick and was not herself. Finally my mum paid $600 to get her tested properly and she was finally diagnosed with ceoliac disease. My mum had been having aches and pains all through her shoulders and upper back. This was causing her to have depression and trouble sleeping from the pain. She had been to many different doctors about it and they all said she just had muscle pain and to take stronger pain killers. She finally had it x-rayed and it showed up that she had a tumour in her thyroid and needed it operated on asap. After taking the tumour out she was told it was benine and she had nothing to worry about. It was only because she works as a receptionist in a hospital that she found out weeks down the track they had tested the tumour again and found it to be a rare and severe cancer and she needed to have her whole thyroid out in case it had spread. The ONE letter they sent out to us had gone missing in the mail and they felt no need to follow up after she did not reply. Like you would just ignore a letter saying oh by the way we messed up you have cancer and could die. She came across one of the doctors in the hospital and they asked her how her surgery was and this was how she found out about the devistating news. Luckily they got it out in time, only to realise they had got it wrong once again and the other side of her thyroid was fine and did not really need to be taken out as it did not spread. She now has to take thyroid suppliments everyday for the rest of her life. Yeh good on you doctors! Doing a great job! I have also been suffereing severe abdominal pain, with migraines and vomiting and am yet to even be diagnosed with anything except depression... go figure! They are hopeless..

  • So how about you going to an alternative health pro and perhaps get better results ? Sounds like you may also have celiac. And there are much simple, easier, cheaper tests to help determine if you might have it. There is some computerized testing that takes about a minute to see if you may have it.
