A question about doctors.

I wasn't sure where to put this but it could be a possible error/negligence issue.

My boyfriends mum has just been diagnosed with having Deep Vein Thrombosis again. The doctor has refused to give her medication for it. Can a doctor do that?

  • Yes sadly doctors CAN do that, but really shouldn't, my father had the same thing happen to him (different diagnosis) but they refused to help him, only this year is he actually getting help, from a different place, that is 10 times better than any hospital i know of, and no doctor ever told us about this, my dad has been sick for 7 years now, and if they had have told us about this he (or we i should say) wouldn't be in this problem.
