I'm almost 9 weeks pregnant 3rd pregnancy..
since my 2nd pregnancy which didn't make it...I've been having pain or sensitivity along side my left pelvis when pressing on it or just coughing alone it's sensitive. it's been couple months now and it's constant. Some days i feel it more like there's a weird sensation like burning sometimes..not sure..but when I'm standing up..my left side looks more swollen then the right...i went to see doctors none seems worried. some say constipation..some say weakness in the abdominal wall...I had and trans-vaginal ultrasound and nothing came up no cyst nothing abnormal...now i think that it could be my sigmoid colon. now I'm afraid that it can interfere with pregnancy and causing another miscarriage...what could it be? and should i ask for a sigmoidoscopy?

This is probably a hernia. Go get it checked out. I'm not a 100 percent sure but I think it's a good guess. Good luck. :)

Since I am not a doctor, I can only tell you from my experience. Since you have seen a doctor, then I would not worry too much. Constipation can cause similar symptoms. Also, it could be gas. Gas can be significant enough to actually see and feel move around. In fact, all the women in my family get a large amount of pain on our left lower abdomen side. It has caused enough pain to cause a few of us to pass out. We have all asked the doctor about it separately and it was only a few years ago we found out all the other women had it to. No doctor can figure out what is causing the pain but does not doubt we have a problem. Since my family has tons of twins and triplets, it is safe to say pregnancy is not a problem for us. Hopefully, this will ease your mind a little bit.
