Would a GP issue a prescription for Viagra to someone who claims to have psychological issues rather than physical? Or would i just be referred to a psychiatrist instead? Also would they insist on doing the checks to make sure there isn't anything physical wrong as well?

I'm in Australia as well if anyone knows our specific laws, but if not i would still like it if you could give me your thoughts on what would happen.

  • Hello I dont know the laws in australia but i am in the U.S. and typically when you are having erection difficulties they will do a check to make sure that it is not physical, my experience has been that even if it turns out to be psycological they usually have no troubles giving you a prescription for Viagra. I have had erection difficultys for the past 20 years and have been told mine is psycological, and so far i have tried viagra and peniile injections. The injections usually work better for me then the viagra and its reletively painless. You just will have to try different things as viagra does not work for everyone....
