I have experienced a soreness in my testicles for several years. I am usually no conscious of pain except once in a while. My urologist said he did not know what the problem was and shrugged it off indifferently. Several other doctors have done the same thing. Healthwise, everything else is okay except for diabetes. Has anyone had a similar experience?

  • I am experienceing exactly that...pain in my testicles and abdomen (where my thigh meets my abdomen), and lasting for part of a day. This has gone on for many years (I'm 30), however it has become a little more frequent in the last week and I'm seeing my doctor tomorrow. Reading about Epididymitis describes very similar symptoms.

  • Im 21 and having the same symptoms, although the onset of the pain seems to be while I'm laying in bed; keeping me up for most of the night. It's the same pain radiating from my abdomin to leg and testes.Any Help yet?

  • This is a real problem and doctors don't seem to know what is going on. The pain I have started when I had sex with a lady friend of mine while she was on her period. A pain shot up into my penis to my testicles then to my legs and hands. I have the dull pain in my testicles all of the time and it really bothers me. Someone needs to do research on this condition. We might be carrying around a new strain of the aids virus. Who knows!!! Hope not but who else has the answers for us. Any and all help would be more then appreciated. Thanks!!!! Tom Majors

  • Well Im experiencing sommething similar, its only lasted about 3 or 4 days. It feels almost as if my left testicle is bruised, though I dont have any pain in my abdomen, just the testes. Ive checked for lumps are there isnt anything, it only seems to hurt when I apply pressure or when they hit something. Oh and by the way, I am currently 18 years old, havent seen a doctor yet because I don;t want to worry the parents, I don't think its serious. will this go away on its own? has anyone else experienced this?

Even though you have not had an outbreak you can still carry it and have the symptoms.

  • Hello, I'm 17 years old as well - the only way I can really explain it is when I'm with a girl I am attracted to for a long period of time (about 4 hours or more) I eventually start to get a pain in both my testes and lower abdomen. The pain continues for about two to three hours (with red soreness visible) but it eventually subsides. I'm not sure whether this is a normal thing to feel or something I should have it checked at by a doctor.

  • I had testicular soreness after a hernia exam. A Physician Assistant did a hernia check three times in a row. I had severe pain during and after the exam. I was sore for two days. Ultrasound found no hernia. Only a small hydrocele. Now, several months later I get sore in the lower abdomen/testicles after driving over bumps or if in the car for a long period of time. I even have to unbutton my pants to relieve the pressure. I also get sore if I touch my testes the wrong way, feels like I'm being punched in the stomach. The doctor said I would be sore for some time but three months come on!!!

It's the same pain radiating from my abdomin to leg and testes.Any Help yet? Have a doctor check you for a hernia, hernia causes pain in the lower abdomen and testicles. The intestines are forced into an area right beside your scrotum and this causes the pain. It comes and goes because when you lie down to sleep the intestines are not under the same gravitation force as when you stand and the intestines go back into your abdomen.

It is a condition caused by excitability associated with the antisipation of sex. Your body releases a chemical that stimulates the sperm and if you do not release, your testicals react... Normally by pain and swelling and this eventually subsides rather quickly.

  • I'm 26 and I've had similar symptoms as those described by the OP on and off since high-school. Nothing chronic, just an occasional dull tenderness. While I'd still suggest to anyone experiencing this to have it checked from time to time, I'm pretty confident that its just a blood flow issue similar to that experienced during blue-balls. We probably just slept at a funny angle, or had our nuts hanging subtly abnormally during the day, resulting in a bit of disrupted blood flow. Also, a few NRBs in a row, without you noticing, could have the same effect, triggering an artificial blue balls. The few times I've had pain bad enough to piss me off I found masturbating made it subside so I find this conclusion pretty probable, though I do get the occasional checkup to be safe.

Tom Majors I would say make sure you try to massage them and give them some warm water- this will increase blood flow to the surrounding skin and make them relax
