Testical Injury turned groin/leg pain

I am a 23 and 5 years ago while having sex with my gf she sat on my left testicale and it got squeezed up into my groin area. It was not up into the area where I pressume it decended from, but just below the skin. It was very painful and has never fully recovered (the testical can still slide up there if I'm not careful, quite uncomfortable).

I went to a specialist with the complaint of pain in my testicale, and was told it was okay. Though it hangs differently and is often discoloured (pale scrotum vs. red and pink on right side) the size, hardness, etc. are similar to the right so I am not overly concerned about testicular cancer.

It should be noted that I do not have problems with erections, though my penis is no longer centered when erect and hangs significantly to the left.

My real concern is the transfer of pain from my groin/pelvic bone to my upper thigh. The spot where the testicale went up is located above what I believe is my pelvic bone, and there is a consistent dull pain associated with that area. I realize there is probably some scar tissue from when the injury occurred, but I'm concerned with the what this dull pain represents.

Any thoughts on what I am dealing with?
