I just visited my girlfriend in BC who I have been dating since June 2008. We are sexually active and have been since June and I have never noticed anything wrong with my Genitals until now. I remember one night in articular when her complaining that she felt really bloated http://kona.kontera.com/javascript/lib/imgs/grey_loader.gif
and that she felt like she had to pee all the time and her lower abdominal region hurt a little. We had sex (without a condom) later that night but it hurt her a little so we stopped. Within a few days I noticed some red irritaed bumps on the head of my penis which disappeared with 2 days and then now I have about 5-6 red bumps on the shaft of my penis which seem to also be going away. They are not clustered together and they are not filled with pus or anything. They are located in just 5 random spots around the shaft. They are about the size of a pin head. They do feel a little raised and the skin seems a little dry when they heal. My penis feels more itchy than normal, but I dont have any other symptoms. For the two weeks that I was with my girlfriend we were both sick just coughing and runny noses and some headaches. Everything seems to be healing up but I'm a little worried that it might be something worse than that. Maybe my girlfriend had a yeast infection and I got it also. I was thinking herpes initially however it doesnt look anything like the pictures I have seen online and I dont have any of the other common symptoms. I had an STD test done about a month before I left to see her just for a routine physical and my doctor said "no news is good news." I never got a phone call or anything. Please help send me in the right direction I am really worried about this and my GF is also quite worried. Thank You

  • Time to request blood work for herpes 2; she should also get a blood test for it and a screening for STDs. You should request herpes 2 specific IgM and IgG.
