Hi folks.

I have a "sore" on my penis , on the head not the shaft or foreskin. It is not raised or depressed. It is a purply red colour and looks like a bit of skin has came off and it is moist where the skin is missing. It does not hurt but is a bit tender to touch. My girlfriend seem to think I infected myself with bacteria from my feet as I am always poking my feet and my "bits" so based on this theory, I sloshed some athletes foot powder on me willy and it seemed to work but it just came back. My willy can get a bit "cheesey" now and again but only when I haven't washed it properly for a couple of days. I do not have any discharge. I did sleep with another girl about six months ago and had an itch for a short time but it went away. I think it was more guilt than anything and there were no other symtoms. Just when I think about it, my penis has been "blotchy" for some time i.e. discoloured but no raised or depressed areas. Is this normal? It can be blotchy one day and fine the next. If I masterbate or have sex, it seems to be blotchy the next day. PLEASE HELP ME,I am scared of doctors and maybe a tad embarrassed, OK, Im just plain chicken.

  • i think befor anything your girlfriend might have a right to know how you cheated on her.so while you might not want to go to the doctor she can at least go.

  • its seems you dont take your relationship or your symptoms to serious.mabey nothing is wrong.but if you itched with another girl your girlfriend should know.and she should have a choice to want to be with somone after they cheated on her.

  • It is outright not normal to have a sore on your penis head. It could be syphilis, herpes or something else, especially since you notice a cheesy experience and itched after sex months ago. If nothing else, go to your local county free STD clinic and get blood work for syphilis and screened for all of the other STDs. If you're old enough to have sex, you're old enough to seek medical treatment when you've caught an STD. Your girlfriend, likewise, should be concerned enough and get a screening, too. She could have something and not notice the symptoms. You should get a blood test for herpes 2, for sure, but they will only do that at a doctor's office and not the county clinic.

  • hmmm. Those 1st couple of posts should be confined to the morality bin! This is a male sexual health help forum not a christian "tut tut" group. Those comments are NOT helpful. Patient has already said he feels guilty, don't give him more guilt.Anyhow....medical advice is what you seek so, sounds like a condition called Lechen Planus which primarily affect the mouth but can be the genital area also. It is non STD & non contagious and stress can be a trigger factor (your guilt?). Google it under genital lechen planus.Hope this helps. The doctor.

  • sounds like you got gwyphillis which is a disease which will eventually eat away your penis. It is uncurable and extremely contagious. the process is slow and extremely painful and may result in lack of sexual ability and can cause hormonal dysfunction. Yours TrulyThe doctor
