Slight Testicular Pain

Well, for a little bit (a couple of weeks) my right testicle randomly aches; it doesn't last long, maybe 5 seconds or so and goes away for a couple of days. Last night, both of my testicles began to hurt quite a bit. It was bearable, just very uncomfortable. The pain seems to be worse when standing or sitting straight up. Today (I'm 16 and not sexually active) I was at school, and my right testicle was hurting a little bit for a lot of the day; not a bad pain, just a noticeable dull ache. The pain is on the backside of my testicle. I also found a small lumpy thing on the top of my right testicle, but it could be connected to something, I really couldn't tell. I thought I had "blue balls" at first, so I had an orgasm to try and fix it that way, but it didn't really help (I had a normal ejaculation). I was wondering if anyone had any ideas, or if I should just go straight to a doctor. I've never had testicular problems prior to this that I can recall.
