My right one has been aching off and on for a few weeks. It comes and goes but almost always comes back if I sit straight up in a firm chair for any extended period of time. I had been doing some biking somewhere around the time I first noticed it, but I want to say I had some aching before my first 12 mile ride. I'm a bit overweight and have kinda large thighs. I wear boxers even during workouts (I had been doing ellipticals and arch trainers for months before I started with the outdoor biking).
I don't have any lumps that I can detect, but the epidymus on the right side is probably a little larger than the left (and the source of the ache seems like it might be coming from the head of the right epidymus - it's hard to tell exactly).
I'm recently unemployed without medical coverage, so if it's something I don't have to have treatment for, I'd rather avoid the costs for ultrasounds, etc. but if this is going to go on forever uunless I get treatment, or if there's a chance of cancer, I'll just have to bite the bullit...
Any ideas as to whether this is likely to be epidytimitus or something else and whether I'll have to get treatment, or whether I should go bak to briefs in the short term or anything else?
Any helpful insight will be greatly appreciated!!!
