Penis head tingles during an erection

I looked to see if I could find this somewhere, but no luck. When I have an erection I get a tingling in the head of my penis. This is not painful, just feels strange. The tingling is like 3 little pumps as the blood flows. If I squeeze the shaft the feeling stops. This occurs during the arousal phase and through the erection. Once I ejaculate and lose the erection, the feeling stops. I have chronic and acute prostatitis (diagnosed over 6 years ago) but did not start feeling this until a few days ago. Anyone have an idea on this?

  • Have you tried using a penis health creme? These cremes are made to treat all sorts of skin issues down there. A good creme will contain Vitamins A, D and E and might really help with that tingling. Check 'em out. Good luck.

  • I have the same problem, and also have had recent cystitis/urethritis/prostatitis, for the last 6 months or so, and that responded to nortryptiline. I was recently circumcised, and 4 weeks out from the surgery began having this problem. Have you had any success in treating it?
