Hypersensitive Glans

I am hoping someone out there has either had this issue or knows what is going on. I am a 27 year old male, and circumcised. Recently, I have noticed a strange feeling after I masturbate. The actual orgasm is fine, no burning or itching. I have been tested for STD's etc and the only known issue is that I have HPV with genital warts that aren't very bad (only 1 or 2 at a time at the base of my penis).

Anyways, the feeling started out as a feeling in my glans like there was a pressure and a heightened sensitivity. It felt like I could feel every little thing inside my pants where before I wouldn't notice anything (felt like normal). I stopped all sexual activity for a few days and it went away.

I began masturbating again and now my penis glans feels hypersensitive. There is no discoloration, bumps or rash. There is no leakage that I am aware of or anything really abnormal going on. It's just that now, the slightest touch (i.e. just having my glans touching my boxers or any clothing) results in a mild, constant pain. It is really making everyday life miserable. I was used to masturbating 4 or 5 times a week and everything was normal. This kind of came out of no where and now for the past couple of days I feel like it is taking over my life because it is always there. I dare not masturbate again right now for a fear of making it worse.

Does this sound like any weird disease? It almost feels like nerve damage, like the nerve endings are misfiring, sending out painful signals for no reason. Any advice would be terrific. Thanks.

  • Hey man i know this is 4 years later, but i have had the same problem for 4 months now and i feel it is the nerves. I dont have the warts, but i am also hypersensitive constantly. Only wearing briefs helps mildly. Went to urologist, dermatologist, been persrcribed creams and 10's of drugs. Nothing helped and they all said give it a week and it will go away.

Did you end up finding a cure? or did it go away on its own.?
