Hi I'm Josh and about a week ago I had a horrible pain in my left testicle and pelvic region. It was so bad that it nearly brought me to tears. I rushed to the ER and there they did ultrasounds, blood work and urine cultures. They diagnosed me with having epididymitis and gave me some pain pills and antibiotics. The antibiotics seem to be working great and the pain has almost gone away completely. But what has me concerned is the doctor told me that the major cause of this is an STD either chlamydia or gonorrhea. This has me quite concerned. Is there other possibilities that I can get this epididymitis? I'm 27 years old and I've been tested for STDs very recently that came back negative. The only person I've been with is my live in girlfriend who after hearing the doctor say this, now wants to kill me because she thinks I've cheated on her and caught an STD. Thanks for the info in advance.. Please help I'm very confused.Reply Follow This Thread Stop Following This Thread Flag this Discussion
