Six years ago I got an infection I thought sas an STD like gonorrhea or something. I had penile discharge that was very yellow. I went to the Doctors and he gave my anti-biotics, but the test for all STD came back negative. a year later I got the same infection...same story, tests were all negative. then 3 years ago I started to have reoccuring infections every 6 weeks. I stopped having sex completely but still after like clock work every 6 weeks i got another infection. I went to see a new doctor and he had me do a Semen culture...and they found bacteria in my semen...hegave me a months worth of anti-biotics and the infections did not come back for a year. this year the infection came back, a new doctor ran all STD tests, PSA, and semen culture and everything is negative...I have gone 7 months now with an infection that doesnt go away. My doctor says that since my labs are all clean there is nothing he can do, thats it all in my mind and to accept it as a part of my life. I know this cant be right. I have discharge every morning, my noids are tender, I have pressure in my groin area and discomfort. Curently the infection goes in a 9 day cycle, the discharge starts off every yellow the first day, the color becimes less yellow eventually turning white almost clear but the day I dont have discharge in rhe morning by the evening its back to being very thick very yellow almost a lime color and the cycle begins again. What can I do? I have heard the same story from 3 doctors (in different countries). This has totally destroyed my quality of life. I am extremely desperate...I even ask to have my prostate removed but they wont do it because I'm 33 and I dont have signs of cancer. An infection for 7 months is extreme...i would go to emergency room but fear to hear the same thing from them as well. I have begun to isolate myself to the point I dropped out of my summer courses at the local university and avoid social evens away from home.
Very very desperate here.
