Can your blood work come back normal if you have Hodgkins or Non hodgkins? What are some of the symptoms? I'm a little nervous because my 9 year son has a lump under his chin for a couple of months. It is mobile and painless. His first blood test came back with his ESR slightly high at 6.2 but the second came back normal. I have been to 3 different Drs they all seem to think it is benign but the possibility of cancer still sticks in the back of my mind. They all think it should be removed so he is going for surgery tomorrow 4/24 and they will biopsy it. My other concern is he has had an mri and it shows other lymph nodes around it. A week before that lump under his chin showed up he had groin pain and we took it as a pulled muscle-he was training for soccer. I mentioned it to the Drs and they don't think it's related. We will find out soon what caused it but I was just curious. I know it could be so many other things not to worry about.Reply Follow This Thread Stop Following This Thread Flag this Discussion
