Lump in neck and groin

Ok, I'm a 22 year old white female, don't smoke, don't drink heavily, eat fairly healthily and go to the gym 3x a week.

I found a lump in my neck, just under the jaw line on one side only. It's soft, about 2cm in size, quite mobile and doesnt hurt even if I press on it.
I then found another in my groin, a little smaller and less mobile but again painless to touch.

Other symptoms which may or may not be related are body temperature swings, stange bowel movements and fatigue. I know I'm going to have to go to a doctor, but the last one I saw just dismissed it and didn't even say what it could be. At the time, I didn't have (or hadn't noticed) the second lump and didn't mantion the secondary symptoms...

Honestly, should I be worried, or is it likely to be something else?

  • Hi thereIn general any time there is a lump it should be evaluated by a doctor. The time to go is now. It's always better to evaluate and treat when it is small.Swollen lymph nodes can have many causes but we don't want to miss an early cancer. Go to the doctor and you will have much more peace of mind knowing for sure.pberonhttp://breastcancertx.blogspot.com/
