I am scared about my lymph nodes...

Hello, I am 14 years old. I have lymph nodes on both sides of my neck, and all in the groind area. I am always very tired.. and have been not eating alot... and also i have had these lymph nodes for MANY months maby 1 year.. please some one help!

  • dude everybody has lymph nodesits a normal thing as long as there not enlarged..don't evn wrry about it ur 14 ryte...don't start poking at them cos i did the same thing evn after i stopped they still hurt it juss went away but they nvr got enlarged and thats when its bad they just got bigger from irritation so just leave them alone and theyll go bak to normal

  • Just as the last poster stated, everyone has lymph nodes all over his/her body, so unless they are enlarged, probably nothing to worry about. I had Lymphoblastic Lymphoma when I was 14, but it came on pretty quickly. I don't remember my lymph nodes being swollen, but my left lung completely filled up with fluid and was very painful. I had to be hospitalized and have my lung drained very quickly. If this has been going on for that long, I doubt it's lymphoma. You should have a physical every year anyway, so next time you go in, tell your doctor if it's worrying you that much.
