I am 21 yrs old guy, and developed a swollen spleen around august last yr(i don't drink and smoke), the spleen looks enlarging more with the drugs been administered, the spleen sort of look hard at the edges, soft and hard part in it, swollen to almost half of my belly, recently i have developed some headaches, and i also noticed some little hardness in some lymph nodes in neck, have been on drugs(paludrine/progunail) for sometimes now coz the doctor thinks its malaria and done some couple of blood tests and have done series of ultrasound tests, though planning for a CT scan soon, pls hope this thing will not lead to surgery, i have wanted to see my doctor for like 2/3 months but am scared he will tell me it need surgical intervention. pls help me out and what are the possible things i can do because its giving mental torture and i don't want splenoctomy(spleen removal). pls help!!!!!!Reply Follow This Thread Stop Following This Thread Flag this Discussion
