How many lupus cases happen every year?

  • Perhaps you mean diagnosed each year. I haven't read any statistics about annual diagnosis incidence.I don't know that it matters either. Many people with lupus realise they have been suffering for years before they were actually diagnosed and diagnosis sometimes takes several years.There are statistics about how many people are estimated to have lupus in various parts of the world but these have to be conservative as it is not a reportable disease and isn't in general socially recognised the same way as, for example, multiple sclerosis or diabetes are .CheersEsmee
