  • Hi Paula - have you asked your doctor if you might also have fibromyalgia? your symptoms sound like some of them especially the pain in the arms (usually shoulders as well). Worth asking doc to see if they can give you something for the pain. By the way for what it is worth, a doctor once told me that cancer does not necessarily produce pain. If lymph nodes are swollen it sounds more like your body is trying to fight an infection. I wish you well - good luck. hang in there.Theresa

  • i need some help from you too-and will probably create my help questions to post under autoimmune disorders.20years+ in my own research and medical care i have found the best thing you can do besides continue to keep positive , see your doctors, and eat right is to exercise. do stretches, and do them all over, fingers and all.i will post my own log to ask for assistance and you can to there to see all i have and what i take in meds and do to prevent progression and symptom outbreaks. i hope thats ok =but, i have responded to so many and i was suppose to be doing something totallydifferent, and it is hard to sit here for as long as i have.but i went to the hosp with these symptoms last week:throat felt tight like someone was choking menausiai could take deep breaths and could not still get enough airand my ENTIRE BODY but especially my core body. it felt like every muscle in that area had been flexed and i could not get it to relax! it is still like that and it gets painful and is also tireing. my body would not stretch out enough for my ribs to expand to breath, and my oxygen levels were down.they gave me oxygen, chest xray, blood work, and blood gas test. when i left the hosp they gave me a shot of toradol for pain.
