Hello, I'm new here. I'm almost twenty years old and when I was sixteen was diagnosed with Fibromyalgia. At one point I was borderline for Lupus, which my then doctor said that is was normal with Fibro patients. I did a check-up on my blood and my ANA went down.
So, a couple years later, in a lot of pain. Still. I went to a new doctor to see if she can help me with the pain. (She told me I needed to start by going to a psychiatrist) Yeah, I have been told that by many doctors. HELLO! I am in physical pain here and not one doctor wants to help me! So, anyway, she wanted to check my blood. I was hoping I had lyme, and before anyone gets mad at me for saying that I apologize, because I want to be believed and having fibromyalgia is hard. Though, I know I should be thankful that my family believes me and I wish it didn't bother me so much when doctors don't.
Well, the title says it. She said I have an abnormal DNA, and she said it is really strange because not only is everything else normal but the test wasn't ordered by her and someone made a mistake. I have to get another blood test. (A sign from God to tell her that I am sane?):D
But I was wondering what exactly is an abnormal DNA? Should I be worried? Do some people have an abnormal DNA without explanation?
