My husband has had Hep C for at least 15 years with cirrhosis. He has been on all the treatments. Most recenty in Feb. 2006 Infergen (had to stop afer three weeks). He also has adult onset diabetes and high blood pressure. He am 50 years old. Since April 2006, he started experiencing constant itching on his chest which slowly resulted in his skin during brown whether or not he scratched. It continued onto his face, ears, hands forearm and now his entire back. His face is shades darked than it use to be. There are now white spots showing in the pigmented areas. He has seen allergists, dermatologists, and rhematologist for the itching. He has been checked for lupus, too much iron and many other conditions all with no diagnosis. His hepatologist says it is not his liver and all the other doctors say it must be his liver. The itching is slowly driving him crazy. He has been on all kinds of anti itch mediations, creams and steroids but they all stop working after a while and the steroid and causing other problems. Anyone else experiencing itching with pigmentation? Thank youReply Follow This Thread Stop Following This Thread Flag this Discussion
