Hi Im new
My Grandfather is 79 years, he got this diagnostic today after spend 10 days in a hospital with high levels of amoniac but now that is on normal levels. Now he is at home but he can't walk he move his legs when he is on a bed but he dont walk, he sleep all the time and this starts like 3 months ago he only wake up to use a bathroom or eat but now he got diappers and he dont eat by himself. I know he is an old person but all I want to know is he going to be able to do stuff by himself again? like walk, eat and all dailly stuff. He was always a strong man but as I said before like 3-4 months ago he is a diferent person, he cant even talk much, he is confuse all the time and sometimes he can't recognize some of the family members. They make some test on the hospital but they will get ready in about a month, there we can see if is any liver condition. My question again people with this conditions stay in a bed for life or they can be normal person again after recuperation?
