Liver Problems

I had been experiencing what we though was acute Gurd symptoms. I do have Gurd and a small ulcer. I lost 50 pounds in three months due to not being able to eat. I was also under a lot of stress. The chest pains were so bad they had me on Vicoden to reliev the pain.

But as it turned out I had gall stones the size of eggs. Took three months to figure that out. My stool went to blond clay like.

So I had a rush gallbladder surgery but my liver functions were tripple normal so They did an MRI of the liver and it turned out to be unremarkable.

While I was getting the surgery the doctor did a biopsy of the liver and it showed minor chronic inflamation. Now I get my liver tested every three months because I am/was on lipitor. and a month and a hlaf ago my liver functions were in the normal range and now all of a sudden they are tripple.

My question is would on expect the gall bladder to cause my liver functions t go haywire and be inflamed.
I am a social + drinker meaning maybe I will drink a little more often than social but not a ton.

So I am trying to figure out what to expect. I was negative for the hepiatius tests so should this clear up?

Does anyone know?

Thanks in advance

  • I have heard that gallbladder problems can affect liver enzymes, but so can vioden and lipitor. They are filtered thru the liver, and can affect liver enzymes, so I think between the gallstones, vicoden and lipitor, that is what is doing it. I'm not a dr., but I've done alot of research on liver disease due to my husband's liver problems.
