I want to ask this from another angle.

I have the following symptoms, and tests. My question is what is the point of getting a diagnosis because as far as I can see there are very few treatments out there especially if it turns out I have cancer in my liver or end stage liver failure. Would it not be best not to just plod on as best I can and eat as well as I can to help my liver. I am not the youngest 51 or fittest person around so treatment would not be easy, and I would suspect surgery would be out of the question.

My tests so far are bloods including all the screens and ultra sound 2009 and ultra sound 1997 and CT all showed fatty liver no mass seen. I have been examined by a gastroelectrologist who also suspects fatty liver maybe NASH but his exam did not show anything.

Elevated LFT and rising

Nausea (2-3 Month duration)

No noticeable weight losshttp://kona.kontera.com/javascript/lib/imgs/grey_loader.gif

Loss of appetite

Acid stomach, burning in stomach some reflux prescribed Omeprazole which I have taken once and does help with the acidity. No indigestion or heartburn.

I feel that my stomach is distended but the doctor said it is fat?

I am unable to tolerate alcohol

I feel plain ill all the time and can eat very little due to feeling sick.
