I am on synthroid for total thyroidectomy due to thyroid cancer. I am taking synthroid, and I have Gilbert's Syndrome. Anyone else with this? Gilbert's syndrome affects the livers ability to eliminate toxins and causes chemical sensitivity. What is your experience?

  • Hi, I too have been dx with Gilbert's syndrome and am on synthroid. I am having a difficult time. My thighs become very stiff and ache and my upper chest feels congested like the liver or pancrease are enlarged. My energy is also decreased. I only started taking the synthroid several months ago. I tried the drug armour and that was worse. I made me feel confused, hyper and anxious. What have been your experiences?Jake
