I am currently 31 weeks with a surrogacy pregnancy. I am not the biological mother of this child I am carrying. the intended parents used a donors egg and fathers sperm. My question is about cholestasis. I am going for test to find out if I have it because I have a few of the symptoms and I wanted to know if I do have it is it my DNA or the child inside of me DNA causing me to have this liver disorder? I did not have this with either of my own pregnancies and it does not run in my family. If I am a surrogate again will my body be likely to have the disorder again, or is it only because of what child/who's DNA is inside me?Reply Follow This Thread Stop Following This Thread Flag this Discussion
