Numbness to top of rt thigh 6" above knee

I have had for probably two years now a strange numbness to an area a third of the way up my thigh. Sometimes it tingles but usually a numb sensation. It is a pretty big a little larger than the palm of my hand right on top of my thigh. Very strange...

Any ideas out there?

  • it could be meralgia paresthetica, but this usually consists of a numb burning painful condition. but what you described is just how mine started out. good luck
