Right now I'm living in Japan and it's difficult for me to go to a doctor, so I wanted to get some opinions first.
For about two weeks now a portion of my right thigh has felt a bit numb on the surface (not completely numb however), and two days ago these red spots appeared around the area. It's merely discoloration, they're not bumps and are completely smooth to the touch (I wouldn't know by feeling my leg).
here is a picture of the spots:
The bruises are from about a week ago when I got really clumsy at a club, and the spots appeared only two days ago.
After the spots appeared, the numbness dissipated, but then today it was numb again. It's not painful, just really strange. I was walking for a while today and all of a sudden that area of my leg started feeling really hot, like the sun was hitting it even though there was no sun today.
Some information that might be helpful: I have been dieting for about a month now and am losing weight fairly quickly. Also throughout this last month I've been wearing two pairs of leggings together because it has been so cold, and they're very tight.
Thank you for any information or advice. I do plan to see a doctor if the spots don't disappear or if the numbness continues.
