Hey guys, i stumbled across this site when searching on google, hopefully someone can help me...
My leg had a little arguement with a log whilst i was out riding my motorbike ad i recieved a large laceration (approx 15x15cm triangular flap of skin seperated from underlying muscle) I have included a pic in the below link (its not the greatest thing to see so i am posting the link not the picture.
So it has now been 12 days since the accident (11 since surgery/sticthing up) and i am still unable to walk (surgeons request) however i have noticed an inability to move 3 out of the 5 toes on my right foot, i cant curl my toes either, when bearing weight on my foot i get a sharp stinging pins and needles feeling and my foot is stone cold(even when wearing shoes and socks) this is the temp difference between feet (both have socks on, both in slippers)
Good foot = 34.4*c / 94.4*f
Bad foot = 20.02*c / 69.2*f
The Surgeon said there is a large chance i have done severe nerve damage but that wont be known untill i am at full walking capicity....
If you could shed some light on my situation it would be great....
Thanks, Peter Watt
