When it is cold outside, and I begin doing some kind of physical activity, thereby warming up my body, my legs and arms itch extremely badly. I only notice it when it's cold outside, and it lasts about 20 minutes, whether I continue the activity or stop the activity. The only thing I've found on-line is dry-skin or infection related occurrences. I'm pretty sure its not my fabric softener, laundry detergent, ingrown hairs, dry skin, etc. The itching is just under the skin. I think it may be related to something where the blood flow into the regions just under the skin are stinging, and macroscopically I feel an intense itching feeling. I'll notice more intense itching in the regions that are doing the most physical activity, eg: my quads when I bike to school, and even my wrist/forearm area from holding the handle bar. I have never experienced anything in my torso, neck, head, groin region. Only my thighs, calfs, ankles, forearms, and wrists.
I am hoping there is something I take, or a ritual I can do, because the feeling is seriously, enraging. If I am in a public place, all I can do is stair at the ground and try not to FREAK OUT!!
I also notice it (in the winter) after I work out at the gym, I won't itch, but then when I stop and shower (sometimes cool shower), the itching will become intense. So that's different than what I said above. I think it's almost related to a fluxuation in the temperature of my limbs.
