I read a lot of the posts about leg buzzing from back injuries to stress. I was trying to trace this back to a time a few weeks ago that I climbed over a block wall and jump down onto concrete. But I didn't injury myself.

So a week ago my left heel and leg began buzzing. It mainly happens after I've been sitting awhile but it's not like my foot fell asleep. I exercise regularly and play sports. (I'm in my mid forties) It is not painful but of course I notice it all the time now.

Do you think it could be a delayed reaction to the wall? Or stress? I have been under a lot of stress the last few months.

Thanks for your responses.

  • B....I have the same thing. In the beginning, at least when I first noticed it, it was only a few times...and occurred sporatically. Today however, it has been constant....rythmic and bugging the *&#! out of me. I have searched the forum boards as well, but have found nothing of which reads, this is what you have. I know that's like calling a doctor on the phone and saying..."It hurts here" but...I thought I might find something. Today is Wednesday, which means my last work day of the week is tomorrow. If this hasn't subsided by Friday, I'm going to the Dr. to see what the ***l is up.I'll keep you posted as to what I find out. Now, that being said, in my case, I have had numerous back injuries. I, much to my parents dismay, drive very very fast for a living. I've been in a number of significant crashes and sustained several minor to moderate back injuries. But this is the first time I've had something pester me like this. The normal aches and pains....no prob. But this is just plain irritating.Like I said before, I'll keep you posted and I'd like a response from you if you find anything out.Chris

  • I went to my chiropractor and was told that some tight muscles in my calf and upper leg are causing my sensory nerve to buzz. I've been doing special stretching exercises and that seems to help. I have not had any pain just the buzzing.Sorry to hear about your accidents.B
