Hi everyone. Just found this site and joined. As I have a problem that has been giving me trouble for quite some time. When sitting, I get a pain in both legs about 8-9" above knee joint, but at the back and outer sides. The pain feels like I have been sitting in one position too long. This pain comes on after about 10 min. of sitting. If I lay flat on the sofa, the pain comes. In bed there is no pain. When driving or sitting in a bus or on a plain the pain is there. I have to stand up and move around. As I drive for a living, it is becoming nuisance. I am male, 54 years, 5'9" and just under 12 stone. I have recently been told by my doctor that my blood pressure is the top of normal, but he said that he is not worried because I do not smoke at all, or drink too much. I do not have any other illnesses that I know of.
I hope someone can shed some light on this for me.
