Please help if anyone has any info similar. My healthy 62 yr old Mother in law woke up 3 months ago with severe head and neck tremors and unable to walk without help. At first thought she had something out of place and needed chiropractor. He immediately sent her for a CT scan which showed nothing , but also refrained from working on her in her condition. As she worsened she went to ER and was admitted for 4 nights. When she arrived she realized she couldn't lift her left leg. With all MRIs and tests nothing could be found wrong . The Dr said it was all " physiological " and gave her Xanax and sent her home. She continued to worsen. She went to a Neurologist in Atlanta that didn't hardly examine her or do further test only tried her on a medication for tremors that is actually a beta blocker used for tremors as well, but it didn't help. She got worse and my father in law had to call 911and she went to the other top trauma hospital in region. She stayed there 2 nights and was released again saying they found nothing only physiological. Now she is awaiting an appt for a renowned neurologist Dr . Bearnheart in Atlanta. But the appt is 1 month away. I just feel she needs answers . Thanks for reading !Reply Follow This Thread Stop Following This Thread Flag this Discussion
