I injured my knee 8 months ago when I skateboarding. I hit directly a tree with my knee bent 90 degrees. It hurt very bad, but I was still able to walk home. The next morning, my knee was swollen and had a big bruise below my kneecap (top part of tibia). I could not move my knee with pain, and sharp pain when applied pressure. Took x-ray, and my doctor said the bones were not broken, but I had bone bruise, and the soft tissues were swollen or damaged. And he gave me some NSAID and asked me to ice it. Until now, 8 months later, my knee still sore when I am walking, and very painful if I bend my knee fully or doing squat, feel stuffed when I fully extend my knee.
