Hi, I fell down when jumping over a 2 ft fence and heard a popping sound when i fell. I realized later on that I had injured my ACL(right knee) and also the menisci. I also had a knee lock (unable to straighten or bend my right leg much). The doctors suggested surgery. I underwent the surgery two days back where the surgeon performed Meniscectomy (partial). However, they realized that my ACL was completely impact (MRI was wrong for some reasons. is that possible?). The surgery took place about 2 days ago but my leg still feels very stiff and though I am able to bend it, the degree is more or less to the same as that before the surgery), . Doctor says it is more of a mental block, to which I disagree. I have tried a few times and still no luck. I understand that I need physiotherapy to strengthen my knee but is it normal to expect knee stiffness 2 days after the surgery? can anyone tell me bending to what degree is expected/normal? I have absolutely no pain and no other symptoms.Reply Follow This Thread Stop Following This Thread Flag this Discussion
